From the Street to the Seat
Imagine inviting someone to your house to celebrate a significant event with you. You would prepare the house for guests and watch for their arrival with anticipation. We do this so that our guests can be as comfortable as possible when they arrive whether it is their first time in your home or they have been over many times.
We believe it is our role on the First Impressions team to maintain this mindset every weekend with our guests in mind.
From the moment the guest drives into our parking lot from the street until the moment they take their seat in the auditorium, the experience of that guest is in the hands of the First Impressions team. Studies show that people make a decision about whether or not they will return to a church within the first seven minutes of arrival. That’s before the message even starts and often before the music. Your role matters!
The First Impressions Team is made up of several unique teams working toward the same goal.
“Whatever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it, they will want to come back and see you do it again, and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.”
